2012 Overview

The annual visit to Cornwall took place on the 20th – 24th May and we were greeted with fine weather that got warmer during the week. This year we added an additional day to the tour so that we could take part in David Wain’s Captains Day event at Bigbury.

This year’s team contest was once again a very close affair, but this time the Christie team emerged victorious thanks in no small part to the return of their Captain himself. You can read how the story unfolded in the Day Reports.

This years open champion is Derek Craston who scored an amazing 42 points around Carlyon Bay. Derek’s surprise at his own victory was matched only by that of Mr Harris, who had luckily picked out Derek’s name in the draw the night before.
